Devblog #2 - Mechanics and Box Modelling


After doing the player's mechanics and getting a good foundation to work off of, I created a more robust version of my initial boss idea. It turned out to be a sort of thunder-crab robot thing. I came up with a list of abilities that would get more difficult to deal with as the fight went on, and with that started working on the script side of things.


I also created a box-out model of the enemy just to have something to work with while testing things out before modelling and creating a more detailed version of it. Next up I need to finish up all the code for the boss and do a little bit of testing of it before I will get on with rounding out the user experience with some UI and then making things look good.
